In the live events space, it’s easy to fall into the cycle of constantly rebuilding or expanding websites. Ticketing info here. Event FAQs there. Parking instructions buried five layers deep. Despite our best efforts, the result often overwhelms fans rather than serving them.

What if there’s a different approach?

Instead of endlessly building more website — what if we focused on building better connections?

Recently, I built a prototype that combines a lightweight digital presence with a conversational AI agent specifically designed for live event patrons. This approach allows fans to instantly find answers about tickets, parking, local dining, surrounding activities, and real-time event information — all without navigating complicated menus or outdated FAQs.

Key benefits of this approach:

  • Faster fan service: Instant, conversational answers reduce frustration and improve experience.
  • Lower operational load: Less reliance on CMS updates and front-end site rebuilds.

Welcome to The (fictitious) Grandview Center prototype experience!

Located in the vibrant South Congress district of Austin, The Grandview Center is a 5,500-seat premier venue known for hosting concerts, Broadway productions, comedy, esports events, and community engagements. Following a major renovation in 2019, the venue now offers state-of-the-art acoustics, upgraded guest amenities, and a seamless, fan-first experience.

As you explore the conversational AI agent, you’ll find it ready to answer a wide range of questions a typical guest might have — from ticketing and parking details to dining recommendations, accessibility accommodations, venue policies, and local attractions. The system is designed to demonstrate how conversational AI can deliver faster, smarter, and more personalized service, enhancing both the event day experience and operational efficiency for live event venues.

Please keep in mind that while The Grandview Center is a fictional venue created for this prototype, the technology and user experience you’ll see are fully real and applicable to venues of all sizes.
